Mango Sound Mozambique designed the project Crossing Borders, a cultural exchange between Austrian and Mozambican musicians, funded by the Austrian Embassy in South Africa and the Federal Chancellery of Austria.

 

In April 2017 Danny Ranks, Dieter Rhemann, Dieter Herndl and Roland Pickl formed a band with mozambican musicians Nito Djembe and Nazir, to give concerts in Beira and Chimoio.

In Beira diferent local artists joined the Band to perform together, or give seperate concerts.
